Uganda Premier League side UPDF is set to promote four players from sister club Young Simba.
Goalkeeper Okidi Jimmy, Defender Kirumira Erias, Midfielders Mugisha Frank and Wasswa Hassan Gule will be enacted to the senior team after an impressive performance in the Buganda Regional League.
Okidi, Erias and Mugisha played a key role for Young Simba in the just concluded season that saw them top the Ssezibwa group in the Buganda Regional League.
However they lost 1-0 to Kiyinda Boys in the playoffs at Lugazi FC Stadium Najjembe.
Okidi played played 19 matches and kept 12 cleansheets the most in the division and conceded League low 7 goals.
In 22 matches, Kirumira kept 13 cleansheets, conceded 10 and scored one goal with two assists while Mugisha was involved in 10 goals in 19 appearances, four goals and six assists.
For Gule, he has been training with the senior team after his license was not released but he managed just one game a 2-1 away defeat to Wobulenzi United in the opener.
