Robert Eseru To Leave Relegated Blacks Power

Lanky striker Robert Eseru will not play for Blacks Power in FUFA Big League next season.

The forward has had his short contract with relegated Blacks Power expire after joining the Lira based side in January, and he is not thinking of a renewal.

Uganda Premier League sides UPDF and new entrants NEC, Kitara FC and Mbarara City have inquired about signing Eseru.

But it’s UPDF and NEC who have proved more serious to secure the deal, The-SportsNation sources have gathered.

At UPDF FC, Eseru will be returning to his former pay Masters after leaving in 2020 to join Arua Hill.

While at NEC, he will be linking up with head coach Hussein Mbalangu whom he worked with at Blacks Power.

However, Kitara FC and Mbarara City are also waiting for the feedback so that they can hijack the deal.

The Ankole Lions are in the market hoping to find Jude Ssemugabi’s replacement after the Forward announced his departure from the club.

Eseru offers lots of experience having previously featured for Ndejje University, UPDF FC, Arua Hill and Blacks Power.
