Kabon Living: Another Player leaves URA

Uganda Premier League side URA have parted ways with winger Living Kabon.

The club said that Kabon decided not to renew his contract which was ending in June this year thus being let go and his departure was made official on Friday.

“Living Kabon has parted ways with URA FC after 2-years of service, reads a statement from URA.

“Kabon whose contract expires at the end of June won’t be renewed following unsuccessful negotiations to extend it”

Kabon leaves the Tax Men after two years, ever since joining them in August 2021 from Onduparaka.

On his arrival, the pacy winger had enjoyed a brilliant season at the West Nile based side thus attracting URA for his signature.

At URA, things didn’t turn out well as he has been on and off in most League games, just as seen in the previous season.

But in his first season at the club, he was the club’s second leading scorer behind Ibrahim Dada with 5 goals and 3 assists.

Kabon now becomes the third player to leave URA after Ronald Kigongo, Salim Abdallah all left the club recently.

URA, who finished fifth last season are seeking to assemble a better side and are being linked to a couple of players ahead of the new season.
