D-mark Power picked their first win of the second round after overcoming Our Saviour at YMCA court in Wandegeya.

Veteran Isaac Afidra scored a game 22 points off 8-of-15 shooting in the 73-66 win.

Afidra, the longest serving player in the NBL, added 10 points to complete a double double.

New signing Ozias Kikomba also starred with a double of 17 points and 12 rebounds for Power.

Kevin Ogunjimi made a cameo for Power but the Nigerian new signing was limited to just five minutes.

Power who continued to miss head coach Timothy Odeke, could have won comfortable after they took a 24-14 lead at the end of the first quarter.

But a couple of Turnovers and failure to execute on offense from Power helped to keep Our Saviour in the game.

But Our Saviour who missed 25 of their 28 three-point attempts, failed to mount strong resistance down the stretch.

Malual Dier who joined the side from JKL Dolphins garnered 18 points while Joseph Wacha had 14 points.

The ever reliable Moses Mugisha and Kenneth Mesho managed 6 and 8 points respectively on the night.

It’s the first win for Power in the second round having lost to Nam Blazers before having their Sunday fixture against Rezlife Saints postponed.

There will be no time to rest for the five-time winners who return to action on Friday against Ndejje University Angels in the first fixture at YMCA.

Our Saviour who also lost to Power 55-63 in the first round fixture, have now lost seven games this season in total.
