Ibrahim Orit: Another player Leaves Vipers

Ibrahim Orit has bid farewell to Uganda Premier League champions Vipers, confirming his exit from Kitende.

Orit made this official on Tuesday via his official social media handles.

“Today, I say a fond farewell to Vipers Sports Club where o have for the three seasons called home, reads a statement from Orit.

The former Mbarara City forward also spared some kind words for the club director and everyone at the club.

“I would like to thank the club director, staff and coaches, teammates and fans for the support they offered me and the times we have shared and enjoyed together.

“I will forever be grateful and would like to wish the club the very best in the forthcoming season and for the future.”

Orit leaves Vipers after three years ever since joining them way back in 2020 from Mbarara City.

During his time at the Kitende based side, he helped the Venoms win three League titles and two Uganda Cup.

But his time at Kitende has been limited due injuries and lack of playing time due to the stiff competition at the club.

He now becomes the second player to leave Vipers, after Left back Dissan Galiwango also left the club on Tuesday.

And strong reports have it that a couple of players including Frank Zaga Tumwesigye, defender Bashir Asiku are all on their way out at Kitende.
