Uganda Premier League side BUL FC have confirmed their first new signing ahead of the 2023/24 season.
The Jinja-based side has unveiled Striker Gerald Ogweti who joins from FUFA Big League outfits Lugazi FC.
Ogweti is a natural nine, and banged in 18 goals last season as the side made their debut in Big League.
The previous season, he was the Club’s Top scorer with 16 goals in Buganda Regional League, to help the side earn Big League promotion.
He began his football career at Friends soccer club around 2012, and has also played for TY Lugazi soccer and Lugazi Municipal.
Ogweti is confirmed a day after the Club unveiled Abbey Bogere Kikomeko as their new head coach.
He becomes the Club’s first new signings, also first of many, for a club that released Richard Wandyaka, Ivan Wani and goalkeeper Emmanuel Kalyowa earlier.
