Ugandan attacking midfielder Erisa Ssekisambu has been released by Kiyovu SC, the Rwandan club announced on Tuesday.
Ssekisambu leaves Kiyovu just after a season having joined in August last year.
His side finished second in the Rwandan Premier League, just behind champions APR on points difference.
Ssekisambu is yet to comment on the latest developments, and an exit is a surprise move for a player who finished with 10 goals.
His recent club in Uganda was KCCA FC, and it remains to be interesting whether he will return to UPL.
He has featured for SC Villa, Express, URA, Vipers and Got Mahia among others.
