Wakiso Giants Assistant coach Pius Ngabo has been linked to a move to UPDF FC The-SportsNation has learnt.
Ngabo Is set to return to UPDF, a club that he served in 2020 after gaining promotion as Kefa Kisala’s Assistant coach.
According to unconfirmed reports, Head Coach Brian Ssenyondo’s contract with UPDF FC has expired, so Ngabo is likely to be his successor.
But it remains to be seen if he can work as his assistant as well, in case Ssenyondo’s contract is extended.
Ngabo, who has also worked with Express, steered St Andrews Gombe to USSSA final before falling to St.Mary’s Kitende in 2022.
The Army side will be busy in the transfer in order to beef up their squad after a reported reshuffle.
The Bombo based side completed the 2022/2023 campaign 13th with 27 points after 28 matches.
