City Oilers Add Germaine Roebuck To NBL Squad

City Oilers have registered Forward Germaine Roebuck Junior on their roster ahead of the second round of the National Basketball League.

Roebuck played for City Oilers in the recently concluded Basketball Africa League.

And during the Nile Conference group, he averaged 13 points and 7 rebounds.

When contacted by The-SportsNation, Juruni confirmed the addition of Roebuck but it remains to be seen when they player well jet in.

“He is on our roster, he is in America now, we added him because he is our player because. He is on our list just,” Juruni briefly told The-SportsNation.

Roebuck who went undrafted in the 2020 NBA, is a US-born and recently became a naturalised Ugandan Citizen.

The 6’5” forward was born in Illinois and attended Calumet and Champaign Central.

His inclusion further stamps Oilers’ authority in the domestic league for a side that finished the first round unbeaten.
