Coach Brian Ssenyondo has sent in a formal resignation letter to his bosses at UPDF FC.
Ssenyondo leaves his coaching role at UPDF FC effective June 14 2023.
The gaffer joined the Army side in 2021 after ending his stint at Mbarara City FC.
“I appreciate the opportunities for growth and development you have provided during my tenure,” Ssenyondo told UPDF.
“Thank you for your guidance and support. Please let me know how I can be of help during the transition period. I wish you and UPDF FC family the very best going forward.”
Ssenyondo replaced Kefa Kisala at Bombo, and in his first season at the Club, UPDF finished 10th with 37 points.
Last season, they survived relegation, finishing 13th with 27 points, just a point above the red zone.
Ssenyondo who has been part of the Uganda U17 National teams backroom staff, is strongly linked to Kampala Queens and Kitara FC.
