The BIKA Netball organising committee has held a successful draw for the clans to participate in the 2023 BIKA Netball tournament with a total of 28 teams confirming their participation.
The draw held at Bulange plaza in Mengo was also followed up by the orientation of the rules and regulations by an Africa level C coach from the Uganda Netball Federation who taught about the rule of game management by both the officials and the players.
“We have had an orientation from the members of the Uganda Netball Federation about the rules in order to make some better and early preparations in what didn’t go in the right direction last year. We have also managed to hold a successful draw of clans in six groups of five teams.” Said Rosette Kaala the head of technical BIKA Netball.
The 2023 Bika Netball tournament will be played Ian a rally format with the top two team from the six groups booking a direct slot to the round of 16, they will be joined by the best four third placed teams to complete the puzzle.
The games will throw off on Saturday the 17th June at St. Lawrence University, Kayanja branch in Ndeeba.
