The BIKA Football Tournament reached the round of 16 with the qualifying teams progressing to the group stages which will be played on a home and away format with the top two teams qualifying to the quarterfinals.
This was done on Thursday morning at Bulange in Mengo with Hajji Sulaiman Magala applauding the works of media in BIKA tournament and honouring the late Stuart Mutebi.
The teams have been ranked according to last year’s performances with the top ranked teams leading the four group stages respectively.
With the defending champions Ndiga failing to qualify past the round of 32, 2022 runners up Lugave seeded top and leading group A with the third placed Ffumbe leading group B while Kkobe who lost the third place playoff topping group C.
Fifth placed Ngeye leads group c.
The BIKA Netball tournament will also kickoff on Saturday 17th June at St Lawrence University with the first round.
