The Pilsner monthly awards nominees for the month of April have seen SC Villa duo being nominated with head coach Jackson Magera and striker Charles Bbaale leading the race.
The April awards will run from the performances of match day 21 to match day 25.
The joogos head coach Jackson Magere is back to defend his accolade which he won in the month of February/March but he will have to see off competition from Vipers Alex Isabirye and James Odoch of Express FC.
Jackson Magere guided SC Villa to 3 wins in April and lost 2 games out of 5 they played, a total of 9 points out of possible 15 as they defeated Soltilo Bright stars, Wakiso Giants and Vipers SC, however they lost to Arua hills and KCCA FC in April.
Alex Isabirye had 6 games in April, he won three, drew two and lost once, earning 11 points out of possible 18.
Odoch was in charge of 4 games for Express in April, he won two and drew two a total of 8 points out of possible 12.
For the player of the month award, Charles Bbaale of SC Villa will tussle it out with Innocent Media of Arua Hill and Shariph Kimbowa of Wakiso Giants.
Charles Bbaale scored 4 while Innocent Media and Shariph Kimbowa both scored 3.
The winner will walk home with an award and a token of 1 Million Uganda Shillings
