Khalid Aucho and Yanga have progressed to the final of the CAF Confederation Cup after overcoming South African side Marumo Gallants.

The Tanzanian side won 2-1 in South Africa to progress on a 4-1 aggregate win thanks to a 2-0 win in the first leg back home.

Fiston Mayele scored the opener for Yanga off a rebound after a brilliant counter attack.

Mayele then turned provider when he picked Kennedy Musonda who fired into the roof.

Ranga Chivaviro pulled one back for the hosts but it proved a little too late for the South Africans to stage a fight back.

The Tanzanian champions will face USM Alger in the final after the Algerians eliminated Ivory Coast’s ASEC Mimosas.

Alger won 2-0 with Khaled Bousseliou and Abdelfetah Belkacemi scoring the goals. The first leg ended 0-0.
