NEC FC will be desperate to pick maximum points when they welcome Kyetume at Bugolobi coffee grounds on Thursday.
The Bugolobi based side suffered a set back last week on thursday as they lost to Lugazi 2-1 at their own home.
That loss, seventh in the season punched holes in their Qualification chances as they dropped to third with 51 points, but are just a point above fourth placed Police FC.
And the game against Kyetume finds them in a must win situation if they are to keep their hopes alive of joining the UPL on their first time of asking.
They can’t afford to slip at this time with just two games to go and more so Infront of their home fans.
They have been boosted by the return of defender Oscar Sulaiman Ssesaazi, who has missed a couple of games due to suspension.
In Kyetume, they welcome a side that is fighting for a better finish but NEC will bank on their home advantage as they keep eyes on promotional places.
On the other hand, the visitors, Kyetume will be seeking to finish the season in style when they take a visit to Bugolobi.
The mukono based have less to play for given their position- they are 8th on the log with 37 points collected from 28 games.
They come into this game having picked a 2-1 win over Luweero United at their own home in nakisunga Ssaza grounds last week on Wednesday.
But against NEC, they face a side that has sights on being promoted and a big test awaits them at Bugolobi.
