Kitara FC and Mbarara City have sights on clinching the title after they were promoted to the Uganda Premier League last week on Thursday.

Kitara FC eased to a 3-0 away victory over relegated Adjumani TC at the Paridi Playground.

Mbarara City were 2-0 winners over Kaaro Karungi at the Kakyeka stadium.

Leaders Kitara FC will welcome Kaaro Karungi at Kigaaya playground as Mbarara City host Northern Gateway at Kakyeka stadium.

Any slip by any side will be a huge advantage for the other as they are separated by just a point.

The Royals have an upper hand to take home the FUFA Big League title with a point above the Ankole Lions.

They are top of the log with 58 points after 29 matches – 16 wins, 10 draws and three defeats.

Sam Simbwa’s coached side has scored league high 58 goals heading into the last match and conceded 20 times.

Mbarara City on the otherside are second with 57 points in 29 matches with 15 wins, 12 draws and two defeats.

Sadiq Sempiji’s charges have managed 48 goals and allowed a League low 19 goals against them.
