Transfers: Joan Nabirye Completes Move to Europe

Crested Cranes midfielder Joan Nabirye has completed her move to Belarus side FC Minsk.

Nabirye joins the European side on a two year’s contract and her Move was made official by the club on wednesday evening this week.

It is good news for Nabirye, who will be enjoying her football career in Europe for the first time.

She joins the Belarus side from FUFA Women Super league side Kampala Queens WFC, a side she joined this year in the recent January transfer market.

Her move to Kampala Queens was seen as controversial after the player was said to have signed first for She Corporate, before dumping them for the Kabojja based side.

Before her move to the Queens of Soccer, Nabirye had previously featured for Kenyan side Vihiga Queens, a side she had joined from Asubo Gafford.

Nabirye now joins a couple of Uganda Crested Cranes players who are enjoying their stay in Europe.

Among these are Fauzia Najjemba, Juliet Nalukenge, Fazila Ikwaput among others.
