Bright stars defeated KCCA FC (1-0) to reach Semifinals in Stanbic Uganda Cup.
Second half Substitute Noordin Bunju scored the only goal for Soltilo Bright stars in the 65th minute and so KCCA failed to respond.
KCCA would have equalised in their arguably their best chance though Congolese Tshisungu Kankonde failed to convert a well given penalty.
This becomes the second consecutive time for KCCA to be eliminated in the Knockout stages.
The first time was last year, They were eliminated in the Round of 16.
Bright stars completes the last slot in Semifinals and joins teams like Vipers, Adjumani TC FC and Police.
BUL are the defending Champions having defeated Vipers 3-1 last year in Masindi.
KCCA will now shift focus to Uganda Premier League where there are Second on the log with 38 points, 5 points below table leaders SC Villa though still have 2 games in hand.
