She Corporate, Five Others in Relegation Battle on Final Day

It will be an epic end as six clubs including defending champions She Corporate will be fighting for life on the final day of the 2022/23 FUFA Women Super League on Sunday.

She Corporate find themselves in a must win situation on the judgement day.

It has been a poor season for She Corporate, who have struggled throughout the season.

Their season has been dorminated by the departure of some of the key players including Phionah Nabumba, who was arguably their best player last season.

They have picked up mixed results and are currently 7th on the log with 19 points, a point above the red zone.

Their latest game was a 4-2 loss to Rines mid week, one that sent them near to relegation zone.

And now, they find themselves in a must win situation as they welcome inform Kawempe Muslim side on the last of the season at home in nakawa.

On Sunday, they will also be praying that results of other relegation threatened sides like Makerere University WFC, Asubo Gafford, Olila High School go their way if they are to survive the relagation scare on the judgement day.

Elsewhere, newcomers Asubo Gafford Will be seeking to fight for their life as they welcome Rines at Kampala quality grounds.

Asubo, despite their brilliant run in the second round, they find themselves in the red zone on the final day.

They are second from the bottom with 18 points and will need nothing but a win against Rines to avoid dropping to the Elite league.

Rines on the other hand, who are in the 5th with 21 points are also not safe and will need to stage a better performance, just like their previous game against She Corporate.

The other game at Lubaga, the visitors Olila High School will need nothing but a win to save their season when they take on Uganda Martyrs.

Olila are currently rock bottom with just 17 points after 17 games.

And on Sunday, they will need nothing but maximum points and also keep ears on other relagation threatened candidates if they are to survive relegation.

In the other game, Makerere University WFC will need all the maximum points to save the season when they take on UCU at home.

It is strong to note that Kampala Queens were declared champions this season with four games to spare.
