KIU Titans cruised past Power to register their sixth straight win of the National Basketball League.

The Titans had to come from a quarter down, after trailing 15-23, before winning the contest 68-53.

Isaiah Mabeny Ater led the way with 21 points, Edgar Munaaba added a double double of 12 points and 16 rebounds for the Titans.

Yat Tiem Ruot (15), Stephen Otoa (14) and Elvis Sentongo (11) scored in double figures.

Power were hard done by their shot outside the arc, missing 21 of their 23 attempts on the night.

And outside Ssentongo, Power bench contributed for just one points, revealing more work for new coach Timothy Odeke.

It’s the sixth loss this season for Power who have won just two games this season.

For the Titans, it’s been a quick turnaround since losing for City Oilers in the League opener.

The other wins have come against Rezlife Saints, Our Saviour, Ndejje Angels, UPDF and Kampala Rockets
