Gadaffi FC will hope to pick their first home win of the year as they welcome Wakiso Giants at the Kakindu stadium in the Uganda Premier League early kickoff.

They will also seek to revenge their 2-0 defeat in the reverse fixture at the Kabaka Kyabaggu Stadium.

The Soldier Boys have drawn all the three home matches with Villa, Express and Busoga United since the turn of the year.

Their last home win was a 2-1 victory over URA on 20th December 2022.

Speaking to the club media ahead of the game, Gadaffi FC Assistant Coach Hassan Zungu said: “We have prepared enough for Wakiso Giants Tuesday.”

“When you look at the previous game, we played well and we got a win away but now we are playing at home were we feel that the vibe is there.

“We have to be consistent with our results, we have just won only one game, we have to win tomorrow then the next game continuously.

“Our problem was generally in scoring and creating because we have not been creating enough.

“So you cannot score when you are not creating but we have been working on it in our training, I think with time we am sure we shall be winning.”

Coming into this game, Gadaffi FC is boosted with a 1-0 away win against Bright Stars at Kavumba Recreation Ground to register their first victory of the second round.

Wakiso Giants on the otherside who are winless in the second half of the season will hope to complete a double over their counterparts.

However, the Purple Sharks have not won any league game this year.

They are also winless in their three visits this year picking just one point at Vipers while losing to Blacks Power and URA.

Wakiso Giants last league win was against Bright Stars on 13th December, they are on a poor run of eight winless matches losing six of them.

John Luyinda side will seek to bounce back after succumbing to a 3-1 home defeat to Villa at the Kabaka Kyabaggu Stadium in their last outing.
