Kawempe Muslim narrowly edged Kampala Queens to end unbeaten run as only one game was remaining to reach Climax.

In a game played in heavy rain, Agnes Nabukenya scored the lonely goal for Kawempe Muslim.

The Visitors netted first in the 11th minute through Resty Nanziri though assistant referee easily called for an offside.

Kampala Queens continued to press as they hoped for the opener but we’re unlucky as they were denied by two crossbars in the 25th minute.

In the second half, the hosts came a better side which saw Agnes Nabukenya fire for them in the 53rd minute.

Despite the defeat, Kampala Queens remained first on the log with 46 points from 17 games as 1 game remains to end the league.

Kampala Queens had last got defeated in league in February last year by the same Kawempe Muslim.

Kawempe Muslim on the other side moved to 32 points with17 games as they occupy the 2nd place.

In other league game, Rines SS WFC defeated She Corporate to ensure league survival as they moved to 21 points with 17 games.
