FUFA Big League: Kitara rally from down to secure a point against Mbarara city, NEC win to move Second

Kitara FC needed maximum energy to overturn the 2-0 result they were lead by Mbarara city at Kigaaya playgrounds on 13th April.

Jude Ssemugabi scored a brace to inspire Mbarara city with a 2-0 lead.

However, John Wesley Kisakye started Kitara’s come back in the 85th minute before he converted a last winner penalty to seal a 2-2 result.

On the other hand, NEC defeated Northern Gateway 2-1 in Lira.

Julius Kazibwe and Farouk Ssekayi each scored 1 for NEC as Allan Atara consoled for the home side.

Action between Northern Gateway and NEC FC

The results took NEC in the second place to 47 points while Northern Gateway remained at the buttom of the log with 18 points.

Kitara remained on top of the log with 48 points from 25 games while Mbarara city dropped to 3rd place to 45 points.
