FUFA Big league: Kitara defeats Police to reclaim top of the table slot

Kitara 1-0 Police FC – Kigaaya playgrounds

Kitara FC defeated rivals Police FC by a 1-0 score at Kigaaya playgrounds to regain their position at the top of the FUFA Big league table.

Kitara FC came into the game second after rivals Mbarara City had replaced them on top on Thursday following their 1-0 win against Ndejje.

Moses Sseruyidd scored a beauty of a free kick in the 62nd minute and his effort earned his side maximum points.

Police couldn’t bounce back as they were even denied by a crowd of Kitara’s fans.

A win pushed Kitara FC to 46 points ,2 points ahead of Mbarara City who are second on 44 points.

On the other side, Police FC remained 4th with 40 points from 23 games.

Police will have to work hard Incase of any qualification hopes to top flight football in Uganda.

They are only 1 point below NEC FC who are 3rd.
