There will be no room for error as NEC FC welcome Booma FC as the Bugolobi ground on Thursday.
The Bugolobi based have had a brilliant season and they are still in the race for Promotional places.
They picked a vital 2-1 win over Northern Gateway last week on thursday away from home in lira to keep their hopes alive.
That win, their 14th this season saw them move to the second position with now 47 points, one below current leaders Kitara.
The home against Booma presents to them another chance to keep going and there will be no room to slip.
In Booma, they host a side that is no far away from the top three places as they are just nine points below third placed Mbarara City.
But given their home advantage, NEC FC will bank on that as they seek to leapfrog the leaders Kitara.
On the other hand, the visitors Booma FC will be seeking to return to winning ways when they take a visit to Bugolobi.
The Masindi based club have drawn two of their previous games with the first coming against Jinja North United (1-1) before drawing goalless against Lugazi FC in their latest game.
They are currently fifth on the log and are just nine points below third placed Mbarara City.
In NEC FC, they face a side that has sights on a promotional place and a big test awaits them at Bugolobi.
Booma will call upon their star man Denis Omedi, who is the leading scorer with 21 goals to be at his best if they are to pick something away from home.
