Wakiso Giants 1-3 SC Villa – Kabaka Kyabagu Stadium
SC Villa claimed a 3-1 win against Wakiso Giants to stretch their of the table lead to a six point gap as they extended their unbeaten run to 11 games with six straight wins.
SC Villa came from a goal down as Wakiso Giants opened the scorings with Shariph Kimbowa giving the hosts an early lead before Umar Lutalo equalised to send the game into a 1-1 draw at the break.
The second Half was a Charles Bbaale show as he bagged two goals in a massive victory to claim the man of the match accolade after a brilliant display throughout the game.
SC Villa now stretched their top of the table lead to a six point gap as their moved to 43 points from the 21 games they have played whereas second placed KCCA FC are on 37 points from 18 games played.
Wakiso Giants looked struggling as their woes continues with a healthy sick bay as their missed a couple of first team starters, a loss ensures that they have now only managed to pick up just a single point in second round.
Wakiso Giants have now lost five league games from their last six games played which has seen them drop to the 9th position on the log with just 26 points from 21 games played.
