URA FC leave it late to defeat resilient BUL FC

The tax collectors picked up a massive 1-0 win against resilient BUL FC at the FUFA technical centre playgrounds in Njeru.

Ibrahim Dada scored with just four minutes left to play for to gift URA FC maximum points away from home as they registered a third consecutive win in the second round of the season.

The home side BUL FC dominated the proceedings with the early chances on goal going their way but the Jinja based side failed to put the ball in the back of the net.

Emmanuel Obua had the chance to put the hosts ahead but his powerful shot from a corner by Jerome Kirya went inches wide in the 20th minute.

The first stanza ended in a stalemate as both sides failed to open the scoring.

With just 13 minutes onto the field of play, Ibrahim Dada struck in a late goal in the 86th minute to gift the tax collectors a 1-0 lead which saw them win on the road as they have now won three consecutive games.

The tax collectors have now moved to the 7th position with 23 points from 17 games played. They will return to action on the 19th of March as they host Busoga United in their first game at Mehta Stadium in Lugazi.

BUL FC who have seen their performances decline as they have yet dropped points with a loss adding onto their last draw against BUL FC in 1-1 score.

They will return to action as they visit SC Villa.
