Uganda Premier League: Two league fixtures postponed

Uganda Premier League Secretariat has postponed two UPL fixtures due to national team engagements. 

This including a titanic clash between defending Champions Vipers SC  and current table leaders KCCA FC which was meant to be played on 21st March at St Mary’s stadium in Kitende. 

The other game postponed is that of URA FC aginst Busoga United which was meant to be played on 19th March.

Per the FUFA Competitions rules, if a club has (3) or more players on the national team, the fixtures involving such a team can be called off.

For Vipers, Siraje Sentamu, Livingston Mulondo and Rogers Torach were all summoned for the Tanzania double header in AFCON Qualifiers.

Meanwhile for kCCA, Allan Okello, Rogers Mato and Geoffrey Wasswa were all summoned.

For URA FC, Nafian Alionzi, James Begisa and Derrick Ndahiro were summoned for the National duties .

The new dates for the postponed games will be  revealed later by the Uganda premier league side.

Uganda Cranes will host Tanzania on 24th March in Egypt before Visiting in Dar es Salaam on 28th March.
