In as many as 10 games, SC Villa have failed to secure maximum points against BUL FC. It will be a huge boost ask for the Jackson Magera coached side who look to have picked up their best performances in the league.
The Jogoos come into the game after being eliminated from the Stanbic Uganda Cup by the same opponents BUL FC and this is better opportunity to seek for revenge
SC Villa last won a game against BUL in 2017by a 1-0 score with Martin Kizza scoring the only goal. Since then, they have gone 10games without a win against the Jinja based side losing six and playing out to four draws
Despite a poor run on BUL FC, SC Villa have been impressive in the second round of the league. They have won 2 games and drew 1, their win could push them to 1 point behind table leaders KCCA though they would be having more games.
SC Villa go into the game without key players Kenneth Ssemakula and Travis Mutyaba who are all off on National duties with the Uganda Cranes squad preparing for the AFCON qualifier double header against Tanzania.
BUL FC haven’t been impressive in the league second round having failed to win any of their games played, However Simeon Masaba is optimistic of building on Uganda Cup wins against oOduparaka and SC Villa in his first two games as head coach.
“Our performance has not been pleasing in the second round but we have done enough preparations ahead of this encounter “.
“The last two Victories in the Uganda Cup against SC Villa and Oduparaka were a great boost to us “.
The league games comes after BUL released Head Coach Isabirye to Vipers and so Masaba will be taking on his first league game.
BUL FC have only lost twice when Visited Villa, they have won 3 and drew 4.
In other game today on 21st March , Maroons FC will be taking on Arua hills at Luzira Prisons Ground.
Uganda Premier League will resume tomorrow on 22nd March with 1 game.
