Blacks Power 1-0 Wakiso Giants – Akibua Memorial Stadium, Lira
Blacks Power defeated Wakiso Giants by a 1-0 score in the Uganda Premier league match played at Akibua Memorial Stadium in Lira.
Micheal Siwu was the heroe of the day as he netted a last minute goal to hand Blacks Powers maximum points at home. Siwu scored in the 92nd minute answering Jackson Wabuleta cross from a free kick.
Wakiso Giants had their goal ruled out by the assistant referee who called for an offside and denied them an opener.
Wakiso Giants createf a couple of goal scoring opportunities but where unlucky on a couple of occasions with both Marvin Nyanzi and Moses Aliro hitting the wood
A win for Blacks Power pushed them to 13th place with 15points level with UPDF who are in the 12th place.
For Wakiso Giants, they remained in the 5th place with 26 points and could drop the position if Bright stars and URA wins their games.
