New York Red Bulls II have officially confirmed the signing of Ugandan striker Frank Ssebufu from Wakiso Giants and he has been announced by the Club.
The details of the contract were not revealed by both parties.
“New York Red Bulls II have acquired Ugandan striker Frank Ssebufu from Wakiso Giants FC” Reads statement in the club website.
New York Red Bulls II head coach Ibrahim Ssekagya revealed on how Ssebufu’s skills can add to the squad.
“Frank has many skills that can bring him to the table and will be a great piece within the squad”.
” His success both domestically and internationally was a main factor in our decision to bring him on board”.
Club sporting Director Dennis Hamlett revealed his happiness for the new signing and wished Ssebufu a bright future.
“We are pleased to welcome Frank to the club for our first MLS Next Pro season , he has a bright future, and we know he will be a great addition to the team “.
In the opener in the MLS Next Pro. New York Red Bulls II will be taking on Columbus Crew 2 at MSU soccer park on Sunday and coach Ssekagya will decide whether Ssebufu will have toake his debut.
