Ugandan forward Winnie Babirye has joined Kenyan side Vihiga Queens on a two year Working contract.
She joins Vihiga Queens from FUFA Women Super League club She Makerere.
Babirye Winnie revealed how she is ready for her new challenge in her career.
“l am humbled to have signed at Vihiga Queens Women football club. This is a new challenge in my career and am ready for the task at hand “.
At Vihiga Queens, she has joined another Country mate Anita Namata who earlier joined the club in 2022 from She Corporate.
Babirye Winnie is a versatile player who can play throughout the midfield and the striking line.
In Uganda, She has featured for clubs like Toro Queens, Lady Doves and Kampala Queens.
Her new club Vihiga Queens is currently in the 2nd place with 22 points, they are 2 points below the table leaders Gaspo WFC.
