Swimming: Sailfish swimming club launches second home in Buwaate

Sailfish swimming club officially launched Eritine Complex in Buwaate as their new home and this was launched on Saturday 4th March.

Eritine Complex becomes the second home for Sailfish who already have Royal Suits in Bugolobi as their first home.

Sailfish swimming club is one of the top swimming clubs in Uganda having spent 11 years in existence and have natured a huge number of atheles to the national swimming team.

Speaking to the media, national team swimmer Mathew Mwase a son to the Uganda Swimming Federation (USF) President Moses Mwase has looked at the pool as one which will groom more young talents in the country.

“Am so happy and excited about having this pool in Buwaate area. Having an extra pool is good and it will help swimmers this side .It will also help us to prepare for regional competitions since it’s upto the standard.” said Mathew Mwase

Eritine Complex is an advanced sports complex with a gym and a modernised swimming pool of Olympics standard size of upto 25metres with six lanes.
