Struggling Onduparaka FC defeated Gaddafi by a 2-1 score to register a massive home win as they returned to winning ways in their pursuit to survive relegation.
Ezra Bida and Rashid Okocha scored in both halves of the game to hand Onduparaka victory Infront of their home crowd.
Steven Munguchi scored the only goal for Gaddafi as the Wasswa Bbosa coached side suffered an away loss.
Gaddafi FC were dominant in the early minutes of the game but they failed to have a cutting edge on goal.
Ezra Bida struck home from close range to put the hosts ahead in the 15th minute of the game as he pounced on a loose ball in the Gadaffi FC defence.
The visitors Gaddafi FC applied more pressure in search of an equalising goal but they failed to put the ball in the back of the net before halftime.
Striker Alex Kitata had one of the better chances to equalise for Gaddafi but his powerful effort went wide in the 31st minute of the game.
With just five minutes into second half, Steven Munguchi who replaced Mahad Yahaya Kakooza in the half hour mark levelled the scores with a beautiful goal to reinstall hope in the traveling fans of Gaddafi FC.
The hosts found a hard time to find a cutting edge as Gaddafi FC had a well organized defence but with the last minute of the game, Rashid Okocha scored a vital goal to gift Onduparaka a massive victory.
A win for the caterpillars has now enlightened on their chances of surviving the relegation zone as they currently sit bottom with 10points and just two below the red line.
Gaddafi FC remain in the eighth position with 22 points from 16 games played.
Onduparaka will return to action on matchday 20 as they visit Express FC at Wankulukuku on 31st March. Gaddafi FC will return to action on matchday 19 as they host Express FC before facing off with BUL FC on matchday 20.
