FUFA Big league: Mbarara City ease past Calvary to move second

Mbarara city 4-1 Calvary – Kakyeka Stadium.

Mbarara City comfortably defeated  Calvary 4-1 in the FUFA Big league match at Kakyeka stadium as they moved to the second position on the log.

Seiri Arigumaho bagged a brace as Mugweri Johnny and Jude Ssemugabi each scoring a goal to guide Mbarara City to a 4-1 victory.

Mbarara City will have to focus  on promotion as they were eliminated from Stanbic Uganda Cup yet their rivals Police and Calvary are all still there.

Calvary was fallen on Vipers while Police on BUL FC at quarter finals of Stanbic Uganda Cup.

A win for Mbarara City moved them to the second place with 40 points only 3 below the table leaders Kitara FC.

Calvary remained 6th with 30 points from 20 games, there next game will be against table leaders Kitara FC on Sunday 26th.

On the other side, Mbarara City will have a chance to widen the gap between the third placed team Police in their tie on Sunday 26th.
