CAF CL: Rwothomio returns as Isabirye confirms squad to face off with Horoya AC in Guinea

Vipers’ head coach Alex Isabirye confirmed a 17man squad to face off with Horoya AC in Guinea in their last game of CAF Champions League.

The confirmed squad left Entebbe airport aboard Ethiopian airlines in the wee hours of Wednesday and they touched base at Modibo Keita International Airport in the evening hours.

Vipers SC will be taking on Horoya AC on Friday 29th March at Stade du 28 Septembre.

Among the lost names on the squad include Cromwel Rwothomio who have been out for over two months with some personal reasons.

Siraje Sentamu, Livingston Mulondo, Rogers Torach and Fabien Mutomboro will not get involved because of National duties.

Captain Milton karisa, Marvin Joseph Youngman, Murushid Juuko and Yunus Sentamu are all out because of injuries.

Defender Disan Galiwango is not on the list due to displinary issues with the club.

In their last game at Kitende, Isabirye helped Vipers snatch a point from Raja Casablanca.

Vipers are last in group C with 2points, Horoya comes Second last with 4 points.

Both teams will only fight for a third place finish as Simba who will be taking on Raja already occupied the second slot.

Defenders:

Ashraf Mandela, Isa Mubiru, Hillary Mukundane, Bashir Asiku.

Midifielders:

Bright Anukani, Abdul Lumala, Olivier Osomba, Robert Mwenge, Abdul Karim Watambala, Ibrahim Orit.

Forwards:

Cromwel Rwothomio, Desire Tety, Martin Kizza, Najib Yiga, Abubakar Lawal.
