CAF Champions league: Kariisa, Anukani a huge blow for Beto’s traveling squad to face Simba

Vipers SC  have confirmed a 20man traveling squad to face Simba in CAF Champions league in the fourth group game at Benjamin Mkapa stadium in Dar es  Salaam.

The venoms will the services of Bright Anukani and captain Milton Kariisa who are rules out due to injuries and fever.

Milton Kariisa has been vital in the venoms CAF champions league campaign but he suffered a hamstring injury in their first leg game against Simba as they lost 1-0 at home in Kitende.

Bright Anukani is ruled out because he is suffering from Malaria and he has’nt been part of training for a week with the Venoms.

Defender Murushid Juuko is still nursing an ankle injury he suffered during their Uganda premier league Wakiso derby against Wakiso Giants.

Striker Karim Ndugwa will miss out because he is cup tied having featured for his former team ‘BUL FC’ in CAF Confederation cup.

Left back Disan Galiwango and Marvin Joseph Youngman will all miss out due to injuries 

Captain Milton karisa is part of the squad to Dar es Salaam though doubtful having substituted against Simba at Kitende with an Harmstring injury.

In the new entrants in the team include Nigerian Abubakar Lawal and youngster Enock Luyima.

Enock Luyima and Bashir Asiku

Vipers will set off today Morning via Entebbe international Airport.

Vipers are currently at the button of their group with 1 point while Simba are 3rd with 3 points.

Raja Casablanca comes first with 9 points while Horoya AC comes Second with 4 points.

In the other game , Horoya AC will look to avenge to Raja in Guinea.

Siraje Sentamu, Abdul Lumala, Olivier Osomba, Robert Mwenge, Najib Yiga, Abdul Karim Watambala, Frank ‘Zaga’.

Forwards:

Ibrahim Orit, Martin Kizza, Yunus Sentamu, Desire Tety, Abubakar Lawal.
