Uganda Premier League: Express, SC Villa held as URA FC collects maximum points

The Startimes Uganda Premier league matchday 16 continued with three matches on Saturday 11th February as URA FC collected thier first win in second round whereas SC Villa and Express FC both were held.

Express FC settled for a 1-1 draw with UPDF FC in a match played at Wankulukuku Stadium whereas SC Villa came from a goal down to secure a 1-1 draw against Gadaffi FC at  Kakindu Stadium.

For the Tax Collectors URA FC, they eased past Onduparaka FC in a 2-0 score away from home at Greenlight stadium in Arua.

Allan Kayiwa scored in the 73rd minute to put Express FC in a deserved lead before second half substitute Musa Aluma grabbed an equaliser for UPDF FC with just minutes to the end of the game.

Alex Kitata opened the scoring for Gadaffi FC in the 67th Minute but SC Villa responded positively with a a quick goal from Joseph Kafumbe to level the scores.

URA FC managed to score two second half goals as they collected maximum points against Oduparaka FC.

Joseph Ssemujju scored a brace on his debut to give URA FC a 2-0 win as they ended a seven match winless run.

Express FC now sit in the 9th place with 18 points whereas UPDF sit in the 13th place with 11 points.

Gadaffi FC now sit in the 7th place  with  22 points While SC villa remained in the 5th place with 25 points.

URA FC’s win pushed them to the 11th place with 17 points while Oduparaka remained 15th with 7 points.

UPDF FC will be back in action on 21st Feb as they will be hosting BUL FC

Meanwhile SC villa and URA will also resume on  25th as they will be hosting Onduparaka and Express fc respectively.
