Kataka FC 0-3 KCCA FC – Mbale Stadium
Uganda Premier league table leaders defeated big league side Kataka FC 3-0 in the Stanbic Uganda Cup round of 32 match played at Mbale Stadium to seal the last slot in the round of 16.
Goals from Allan Okello, Rodgers Mato and Tshisungu Kankonde were enough to guide the Kasasiro boys to a massive victory away from as they target silverware.
KCCA FC dominated the game and could have seen an early lead with just eight minutes into the game as striker Charles Lwanga applied pressure on Kataka FC goalkeeper Emmanuel Kasibante and he put the ball in the back of the net but his strike was ruled out for a foul.
The Kasasiro boys created a couple of goalscoring opportunities under the heated up temperatures in Mbale with defender Peter Magambo heading wide as well as Mato seeing his free kick being saved.

With just five minutes onto the field of play, Congolese Tshisungu Kankonde was set up by Lwanga as slotted home to double the Kasasiro boys lead in the 63rd minute.
Kataka FC played on pressure as they couldn’t cope up with KCCA FC’s attacking force and this forced them into committing unnecessary mistakes which resulted into a handball in their own penalty area.
Rodgers Mato stood up and converted from the spot to give KCCA FC a deserved 3-0 lead in the 68th minute.
