Lonely Mato Goal in the half time gifted KCCA FC glory over Wakiso Giants at Kabaka Kyabaggu Stadium.
Many termed the Goal to be offside including assistant Referee who had raised the flag against Mato though later Referee Ali Sabilla after Consultation allowed the Goal.
It is Understood that Wakiso Giants Lawrence Bukenya had gone off the pitch without The Referee Concern which kept Mato Onside according to Article 11 of the IFAB laws of the game.
Mato’s goal helped KCCA FC stretch to 32 points, 5 points ahead of BUL FC and Vipers SC.
While Wakiso Giants FC remained 4th with 25 points from 15 games.
Meanwhile it was party at FUFA Technical Center Njeru when Maroons FC overcame Busoga United.
Second half Substitute Darious Ojok lonely Goal helped Maroons FC claim victory.
Maroons FC had finished Second Round with a poor run losing their last 3 games.
Maroons FC are now in the 9th place with 18 points , 8 points away from Relegation.
Busoga United remained 14th with 7 points.
