Paul Nkata appointed Wazito FC Head Coach

Ugandan Coach Paul Nkata has been appointed as Kenyan premier League side Wazito FC new head coach till the end of the season.

He replaces Jaffers Odongo who was taken by kakamega Homeboys to act as assistant coach and trainer on Monday.

” We have him here and he will be in Charge of the Bandari game” a source of the club ‘Wazito’ revealed.

Paul Nkata is expected to bring  vast experience as he is tasked to help Wazito from Relegation, he has coached at Kenyan Clubs like Nairobi City Stars, Mohoroni Youth, Kakamega Homeboys, Bandari and Tursker.

However, During his stay at Kakamega Homeboys in 2019, Things didn’t turn well as he was accused of fixing Matches by the owner Cleophas Shimanyula.

Cleophas accused him of receiving Cash to influence the outcome of topflight matches when Kakamega Homeboys was taking on Sony Sugar and Marthare United.

However in January 2020, after FIFA investigating , there were no proof to guilty him and so he was declared innocent.

In April last Year, he helped  Mohoroni Youth to gain promotion in the topflight league in Kenya.

Achievement wise, Paul Nkata helped Tursker FC win a double back in 2016.

Despite Kenya, Nkata has had stints in Uganda with Clubs like URA FC, Kiira young, Express FC,  SC villa, Mbarara city FC, Masaka city FC, Masindye FC and National U-20.

Wazito Currently sits in the 16th place with 9 points from 12 games.
