Madagascar defeated Niger 1-0 in the third place play off match played at Miloud Hadefi Stadium to win the Bronze medal at the ongoing CHAN 2023 tournament in Algeria.
Jean Razafindrakoto scored the only goal of the game which gifted Madagascar a massive win in the late 89th minute of the game.
Competitively, Niger Couldn’t cope up with Madagascar. Niger was only limited to just 8 shots as only 1 went on target while Madagascar had 10 shoots 3 were on Target.
Madagascar are the first team to win a CHAN Medal in their first appearance since Nigeria in 2014.
CHAN 2023 finals will be played Today on 4th Feb with the hosts Algeria taking on Senegal at Nelson Mandela stadium.
Morocco are the defending Champions having defeated Mali (2-0) in Senegal 2021.
