Uganda cranes captain turns into Journeyman, joins another top tier side in Iraq

Journey man Emmanuel Arnold Okwi the Uganda cranes captain has joined Iraq top tier side Erbil SC FC from Al Zawraa FC.

This was officially announced by Erbil SC as they completed his transfer from rivals Al Zawraa alongside other five teammates as it becomes his eighth club outside Uganda.

He joins a list of other Ugandans to have played for Erbil SC with the likes of Sula Matovu, Allan Kateregga and Ivan Bukenya.

He is tasked to help his new club improve on their current run of performance as they sit 15th on the log with just 12 points.

Emmanuel Okwi has previously featured for clubs like Simba SC, Yanga Africans (both Tanzania), Etoile Du Sahel (Tunisia), Sonderjyske (Denmark), Al Ittihad (Egypt) , Kiyovu FC (Rwanda) and Al Zawraa (Iraq).
