Dr Apollo Ahimbisibwe on arrival in Algeria

” Like it has always been a norm at FUFA that prior to a major tournament, We take National teams to foreign Camps  and create a situation that would give players a competitive mind. l believe the Camp in Souse has been fruitful, The Coaches  have been able to mould the team and  the players have developed  the bond necessary to take them into CHAN” He said

“In addition, we have acclimatized to things like Weather and food because Tunisia and Algeria are neighbours, We believe this was a perfect choice of venue to Camp. The friendly games have shown improvement  and Chemistry of the team and we are hopeful of doing better in the previous editions.”

Uganda is the only Country to have featured in  all 5 previous CHAN tournaments that are 2011, 2014, 2016, 2018 and 2020 despite failing to Qualify from any CHAN group stage in above
