Transfers: Bobosi Byarunga joins MLS side on loan

Ugandan midfielder Bobosi Byarunga has completed a loan move to MLS Next Pro side Austin II FC.

Bobosi joins the Austin II FC on a seasonal long loan but with an option to buy from his parent club FC Vyskov as announced by Austin on their social media handles.

The midfielders move was announced alongside two other players in the names of David Rodríguez and Cheick Touré.

The former Vipers SC midfielder joined Czech Republic side Vyskov on a permanent deal but his move was halted by the documentations as he failed to travel to Europe and was seen in Uganda during that time.

Bobosi was a key player in the Uganda Hippos squad helping them finish second in the 2021 U20 AFCON tournament held in Mauritania.

He also helped Vipers SC win the 2021/22 Uganda Premier League which saw him being crowned the FUFA Male Player of the Year Award in 2021
