Uganda Premier league side BUL FC have completed the signing of striker Samuel Ssekamate on a two years deal from Arua Hill FC.
The striker has vowed to help the club return to continental football having featured in the CAF Confederation Cup preliminary round.
“I believe in the project and I have a good relationship with the coaches here, I want to contribute as much as possible to the expectations of the coaches and the club.” said Ssekamate on his first interview with the club media.
“BUL competed in the confederations cup this season and I want to work hard to get this club back to the continent.” The striker added.
BUL FC head coach Alex Isabirye has dubbed Samuel Ssekamate as a better striker who will fill the void left by Karim Ndugwa.
“Sam is a good striker who can score goals, create chances and he is the right player we can sign now.”
“He will absolutely add something to the team and I believe he will do the job but I will not put pressure on him.” said Alex Isabirye.
Ssekamate becomes the first January signing at the Jinja based side BUL FC who currently sit in the second place in the Uganda Premier league table.
Samuel Ssekamate has vast experience in the league having featured for top clubs like KCCA FC, Victoria University and Masaka LC.
