Sam Ssimbwa walks out of Maroons deal, joins Big league side

The former URA head coach Sam Ssimbwa is in the verge of joining Big league table leaders Kitara FC after dumping the Maroons deal.

Sam Ssimbwa who has been out of coaching for close to 18 months off the pitch had earlier agreed terms with the Luzira based side Maroons FC but reports indicate Big league side Kitara FC have beaten them to his signing after offering him a better deal.

Ssimbwa is expected to sign a three years working contract at the pride of Bunyoro and his immediate task will be to help them secure promotion to the top flight league.

At Kitara FC he joins a team with experienced players like Paul Mucureezi and Geoffrey Lwesibawa who have been signed in the this current transfer window.

Kitara FC are currently top of the Big league table with 31 points from the 15 game played in the first round having lost just two games.
