Mustafa Kiiza back home, rejoins KCCA FC

Mustafa Kiiza has rejoined KCCA FC as a free agent after terminating his contract at Portuguese side Futebol Clube de Arouca.

The left wing back is expected to help out KCCA FC solve defensive issues as he will be filling up the void left out by injured Herbert Achai.

Mustafa Kiiza started his career in KCCA FC junior team in 2016 , he was then promoted to the senior team in 2017 by Micheal Mutebi With other players like Allan Okello, Julius Poloto, Peter Magambo, Noel Nasasira and Ronald kikonyogo.

He was so instrumental in the KCCA FC side that made it to the CAF champions League group stages and the Confederation Cup group stages as he bossed the left back with his powerful strikes and assists which earned him a dream move to Major League Soccer side Montreal Impact.

He was latter deemed surplus at the MLS side and his contract was terminated and later joined Portuguese side FC Arouca.

He left the Portuguese side Arouca with out playing any competitive game and only making a few appearances on the bench

KCCA FC are optimistic that the left back will help them reach their goals this season as he did before joining Montreal SC in USA

Mustafa Kiiza played 70 games for KCCA FC and scored 11 games. For the National team he has only featured in 16 caps scoring only 4 goals

KCCA FC is currently at the top of Uganda premier league having played 14 games with 9 wins, 2 draws and 3 losses Collecting 29 points. For the above information it’s just 2 points above Bull and vipers who have 27 points.

KCCA FC will be back in action as they visit Wakiso Giants on the 9th February at Kabaka Kyabagu Stadium.
