Beach Soccer: St Lawrence claim defeat Buganda Royals to win the super four trophy

St Lawrence University were crowned the super four Champions after easing past Buganda Royals in the beach soccer eye opener at Mutoola beach in Mukono.

St Lawrence claimed a 10-7 victory over Buganda Royal in the final of the super four beach soccer tournament to start their 2022/2023 league season with a silver medal

St Lawrence managed to beat off competition from KIU in their first game with a convincing 13- 7 victory as they sealed their spot in the finals. 

Buganda Royal saw and easy path to the finals as MUBS the defending champions failed to turn up to defend their crown which earned them a slot in the finals.

St Lawrence dominated the finals as their captain and Sand Cranes player Baker Lukooya was vuta scoring four goals in the final alongside Joshua Lubwama who put up an outstanding performance.

The super four tournament is an eye opener to the FUFA Beach Soccer league which will kick off on Sunday 22nd January.
