Ibrahim Juma officially unveiled at Spanish club CD Leganés

Left back Ibrahim Juma has been officially unveiled at Spanish Segunda side CD Leganes on loan from Uganda premier League side KCCA FC.

This was made official via the club’s social media handles on Monday this earlier this week.

Juma who will head straight to the development squad as part of his development and growth in international football had a transfer delay which was halted by paper work that couldn’t allow join the side straight away.

The KCCA soccer academy graduate was announced as a CD Leganes player in September but due to travel restrictions, he has been training with KCCA and also the U20 side.

Juma captained the Uganda U17 side to the CECAFA tittle and also was the captain for the KCCA FC U20 side that won the cambiasso tournament in Tanzania.

He also played a vital role in the Uganda Hippos side as they qualified to the continental African tournament after defeating South Sudan in the finals of the CECAFA region qualifiers.

Club Deportivo Leganés, S.A.D. is a football club based in Leganés, Community of Madrid, Spain, that currently competes in Segunda División, the second tier of the Spanish league system. It was founded on 23 June 1928. It holds home games at the Estadio Municipal de Butarque, which seats 12,454 spectators
